We are happy to announce a new promotion that is now available to our British White Cattle Association members! This program is called the 2020 Promotional Regions Program and will be under the Regions Committee. The program addresses only promotional activities put on by an organized region and has nothing to do with other activities that have been or will be hosted by the BWCAA as a whole.
This program is totally voluntary and was created to give all of our members more control, flexibility and support to promote their cattle, the British White breed as well as the breeders residing in these regions, in the manner which works best for them.
We are mailing out the program details as well as a list of members in that region that are active adult members in good standing, have paid annual dues and herd fees or are life members that have paid herd fees. Since we are currently in the annual dues renewal period, some that have been listed may not yet have paid their renewals and some already have. New members are also being added to regions as they join our Association. If you wish to contact members from the list that is enclosed with the mailing, please check with them to make sure they have paid their annual dues and herd fees. If your region wishes to organize for the purpose of promotion and choose a representative as outlined in the program, it is required that the representative be an active adult member who has paid annual dues and herd fees. It also states that they must present signatures from other active adult members who have paid annual dues and herd fees or be a life member and pay annual herd fees who reside in your region.
The rules that have been set up for this program are structured to follow the rules currently in place for the Adult Membership and our Junior Membership with regards to ages and voting requirements.
